HVAC Residential Service Technician position available in Knightdale, NC

Technicians are only required to be present at the office one day per week. All other days Technicians leave from home to start their daily route.


  • Accurately diagnose and repair problems with customer HVAC equipment
  • Have a strong focus on customer service, with commitment to integrity
  • Communicate solutions to customers
  • Maintenance on residential equipment
  • Servicing and/or cleaning IAQ products/equipment on all residential job sites
  • Soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Possess basic diagnostic skills
  • NC H3 Class 1 contractor s license in good standing a plus but not required
  • Ability to perform equipment service and maintenance
  • Able to follow controls/wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed
  • Willing to work overtime, night, and weekend hours if necessary
  • Must be able to pass our background check, drug-screen, and MVR driving record check

Job Requirements:
  • Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Learn to repair and how maintain food service cooking equipment
  • Perform tank and equipment maintenance
  • Identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs
  • Maintain and repair heating and cooling systems
  • Troubleshoot residential and light commercial equipment
  • Discuss account and project milestones
  • Replace or repair defective parts
  • Identifying equipment parts and components that are required to repair and maintain equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Complete maintenance and repair records updates
  • Provide preventative maintenance service on production products
  • Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds
  • Perform maintenance and service repairs on commercial Refrigeration, HVAC, and other equipment within the commercial service environment
  • Monitor the following areas of repair
  • Make service calls to customer homes and provide with expert troubleshooting and repair service to a variety of equipment, particularly heating systems
  • Removing tires for retreading or repair
  • Used in the repair of heating and air conditioning equipment in residential and light commercial buildings
  • Test each system after service/repair
