The Certified Maintenance Technician (CMT) implements and expedites general maintenance functions, preventative maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools (CNC Machines with PLC control systems such as Allen Bradley, 840d controllers and Fanuc) and manufacturing equipment, and improvement of the facilities. This position is responsible for scheduling, directing, and training and developing procedures for machine repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and training aids for subordinates and colleagues. Applicant must be able to read schematics and parts drawings, perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and facilities, and be proficient with the use of a multi meter. The CMT also assists in implementing environmental programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
Education/Qualifications: Associates degree in the maintenance field or equivalent technical degree and 3-5 years of experience Minimum 2 year experience in trouble-shooting Programmable Logic Controllers Excellent troubleshooting experience including electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, motor controls, CNC manufacturing equipment, and PLCs Complete understanding of Plant electrical systems, including DC voltage and AC voltage from 24V to 480V Advanced knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming preferred
