Position Objective:Overall responsibility for facility and grounds maintenance and supervising those who perform repairs, maintenance of the building including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building repair, maintenance and security. Plan periodic equipment shutdown, schedule maintenance activities, coordinate preventative maintenance program and execute same. Assure a safe working environment throughout the plant. Will oversee grounds and parking lot maintenance and cleaning.Assure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations required by state DEEP, Federal EPA and OSHA regulations including establishing and assuring written programs are completed, up to date and in place as well as assuring training of all employees is executed according to requirements.Principle Responsibilities: Supervise and direct the maintenance of plant building, facilities and equipment in a cost effective manner that minimizes machine down time. Includes security, telephone and computer network. Obtains and represents the company's position and interests effectively in dealings with outside contractors, vendors and various consultants. Assure compliance with state DEP and federal EPA and OSHA regulations. Direct the activities of maintenance department employees. Obtain outside services and negotiate favorable pricing where necessary.Qualifications:Five years of directly applicable experience in a manufacturing environment or a bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering or any combination of experience, education and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
