This individual will be part of a full-service engineering team delivering work on multiple projects of varying size and scope. Key Responsibilities: Communicate with owners and contractors to arrange and schedule site visitsDevelop Commissioning forms for contractors' usePerform site visits to witness and document HVAC system installation, tests, and start-ups.Review and analyze energy management system trendsAssist owner's with preparing Owner Project Requirements.Assist Senior Commissioning Engineer in peer review of HVAC, plumbing and lighting controls plansAssist Senior Commissioning Engineer in commissioning the installation and operation of DDC/automation systemsAssist Senior Commissioning Engineer in verifying HVAC systems, lighting controls, and domestic water systems performance. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited universityEIT Preferred, LEED AP a plus5-7 years' experience designing HVAC systems with a strong understanding of controls.1-2 years' experience in CommissioningAutoCAD and Revit software experience preferredKnowledge of LEED requirements, credits, and templates preferredResourceful team player possessing strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to write clear and concise reportsAbility to work within project budgets and schedules.
