We are looking for a licensed PE to join #TeamBergmann as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer in our Midwest Infrastructure Group!

What You'll Be Doing: The Sr. Mechanical Designer applies diversified engineering principles and practices to design projects relative to an engineering discipline that encompass considerable scope and complexity.

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate has a Bachelor s degree (Architectural Engineering) from an ABET accredited school. A minimum of 10 years experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Prevention and a licensed PE.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

Use advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in developing design

Ability to assist in the education and development of design staff and act as a resource for design questions

Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, support and build others on the team and across disciplines/offices

Suggest new ideas and processes stay informed of developments in practice areas, view obstacles as opportunities

Advanced in REVIT

Proficient in CAD

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Passion for leadership

A team player and be able to work independently

Our Sr. Design Engineers also:

Perform complex assignments requiring development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures

Participate in the interpretation, update, and/or creation of Standards of Practice

Perform QA/QC on drawings from drafters, designers, and/or design engineers on project

Perform the duties of a Project Engineer

May serve as Bergmann contact for client, other design professionals, and contractors

May stamp/sign drawings or reports and/or serve as Engineer of Record for the project

All other duties as assigned. We won't ask you to do things way outside your scope, but we are one #TeamBergmann, so 'Not my job' is not an option!
