We are currently seeking aMaintenance Techin our Facilities/Maintenance department. HVAC experience preferred.Position is full time.

Hours for this position are as follows:
  • Tuesday - Saturday 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Receives and follows maintenance schedule/instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures manual.
  • Performs specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
  • Installs ceiling tiles, cleans fan coil units, and other equipment as assigned.
  • Repairs and/or replaces toilets, as requested.
  • Performs minor troubleshooting of dietary equipment and plumbing repairs.
  • Installs and troubleshoots residential appliances.
  • Completes boiler checks and reporting procedures.
  • Accurately reads basic drawings and blueprints.
  • Maintains work area in a clean, safe and professional manner.
  • Assists in maintaining minimum working stock of parts.
  • Follows established safety regulations, to include fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.
  • Wears and/or uses safety equipment and supplies (e.g. back brace, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving heavy objects; wears goggles when using power tools.
  • Uses appropriate personal protective equipment and supplies when handling infectious materials and/or hazardous wastes or chemicals, and disposes of properly.
  • Reports all hazardous conditions, unsafe equipment, and missing or improperly used labeled containers of hazardous chemicals to supervisor.
  • Adheres to Standards of Attendance.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
  • Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of maintenance or maintenance related experience preferred.
  • Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to read measurements on a tape or ruler.
  • Specific Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel and the general public.
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.
  • Must be able to safely operate equipment necessary for position.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, crawl under equipment, and work in cramped spaces at times.
  • Must be able to spend the day frequently walking, climbing, stooping, and bending.
  • Must possess a valid Oklahoma Drivers License.
  • May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
  • Qualifications



    High School or better.


    Technical/other training or better.


    Required Previous experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing
